We are looking for a Junior Operational Buyer Associate and for an experienced Operational Buyer Professional for our client in Hallsberg. In this position you will oversee and assist operations through the acquisition of necessary goods and services for the organization, including both indirect operations (such as office supplies, computers, travel arrangements, maintenance, and machine parts) and direct operations (like raw materials and services for manufacturing, production, or construction, as well as retail products).
Procurement processes involve:
- Finding products/services
- Choosing suppliers and consistently evaluating their performance by negotiating for current parts/services to enhance effectiveness
- Discussing prices and terms
Requirements
Junior Operational Buyer Associate
At the entry level, individuals apply theoretical knowledge acquired through education. They may need to demonstrate the following skills:
- Work under close supervision
- Deal with tasks that are not usually challenging or complicated
- Provide explanations about facts, policies, and practices relevant to their job area
This role involves 0-2 years of relevant experience.
Operational Buyer Professional
At a professional level, individuals utilize practical knowledge gained from education and work experience. They are expected to work independently with some supervision, handle challenging but not highly complex problems, and may have the ability to influence others in their field by explaining facts, policies, and practices. This level of expertise generally requires 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
